Care & Warranty

Western Dove uses high-quality Hermann Oak Leather, which requires minimal care. To keep your piece looking its best, avoid daily use when possible, as dust and sweat are inevitable. Store your tack in a clean, dry room — it’s best reserved for race days or special occasions to maintain the color and clarity of the gemstones.

If you wish to clean your piece, I recommend using a soft makeup brush or toothbrush to gently remove debris between stones. Use a diluted laundry detergent with minimal water, followed by a light application of saddle oil applied with a similar brush.

Western Dove guarantees quality and care in the application of stones. While the sun may naturally fade colors over time, damage can also occur if a horse rubs, itches, or bites the tack. In the event of damage, I will assess the piece to determine if it’s due to neglect or a product malfunction.

If you notice the backing beginning to lift, please avoid pulling on it. Instead, send me a photo, and I can advise whether it requires a replacement piece or further repair.

As always, I stand by my work and deeply appreciate my clients.
